Two farms are part of the 82-hectare estate: the Gayrosse and Brameloup farms with some of the buildings dating back to the 17th century. Most of the buildings were erected in the 19th century. There's a museum on the premises (Ecomusée de l'Armagnac) that accepts visitors year-round and features a permanent exhibition of bottles as well as temporary exhibitions. It is there that you can learn about the history and heritage of Armagnac and the local terroir.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nThe Garreau family took over the estate in 1919 and is now in its 3rd and 4th generations, with Carole Garreau taking over the reins most recently. She continues in the footsteps of her great-grandfather, fusing modernity and tradition while adopting sustainable practices. They grow Baco, Ugni Blanc, and Folle Blanche grape varietals in their vineyards on the sandy loam soil of the region, nestled between woods and ponds.
