Cool gray mists blow through the valleys and pine trees also grow nearby. The water here is spectacular! The Morales Luis family produces beautiful mezcal: the late head of the family, Espiridion, had been making Mezcal since the Fifties. He was soft spoken and sincere which reflects in the honesty of his mezcal. He has passed his skills on to his adult sons and daughters, Juan, Armando, and Esther. Albarradas has a high light nose with lots of citrus overtones. A bit of roasted pear too.
