The sugarcane is harvested, fermented and distilled into rum, before being aged in a range of bourbon, port and sherry casks. They are then masterfully blending by the hands of Tito Cordero, Diplomático’s maestro ronero.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\nDiplomatico’s line features a range of column, batch kettle, and pot still rums. Serving as the replacement for Diplomatico’s signature Reserva rum, Mantuano, which translate to ‘nobleman,' is a tribute to Don Juancho's prominence and passion for travel, as well as his discovery of new spirits, predominantly rums. Mantuano is aged for up to eight years, and is blend consisting of Column, Batch Kettle, and Pot Still rums and distilled from molasses and sugar cane honey. \u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\nEach bottle of Diplomatico features the image of Don Juancho. “Dark and richly flavored with a texture to match – oily and sticky.
