The grapes develop slowly in Carneros, ripening evenly to produce wines of rare expressiveness. When we decided it was time for Mount Veeder to release a Chardonnay, we knew that it had to be from Carneros — but we wanted it to be uniquely our own. After exploring all the region had to offer, we selected fruit from a vineyard whose Chardonnay grapes flawlessly emulate Mount Veeder’s mountain style.
