Orphan Barrel Muckety-Muck features the same whisky that was in the previous Muckety-Muck releases, except this year's expression has spent an additional year in its cask. It's a single-grain Scotch whisky that was distilled at the Port Dundas Distillery, its name a reference to a piggery that once stood beside the distillery. At one point it was the largest distillery in Scotland having operated for 2 centuries before closing its doors in 2010. When Diageo didn't have a place for the acquired product in their blends, they set the spirits aside. Time transformed this new spirit into aged delicacies.
