Founded in 2012, the Teeling Whiskey Company was the first new distillery in Dublin in 125 years. It was set up by Jack Teeling with two goals: to revive the family trademark and bring whiskey production back to Dublin. known for their unique distillation and maturation techniques, Teeling 32 Year Old Purple Muscat Finish was crafted under the watchful eye of Master Distiller Alex Chasko. Distilled in 1990, the whiskey spent 28 years in ex-bourbon casks. Then, Chasko sourced a single Purple Muscat cask from the Setubal region in Portugal. The toasted French oak cask was selected for its berry and fruit notes that would make for a rich, fruity, and juicy Irish single malt. After spending another 4 years in this cask, the single malt was bottled, yielding only 283 bottles.

Grab one of only 283 bottles today!

About Teeling

                                            In 1782, Walter Teeling opened a distillery along Marrowbone Lane in Dublin, Ireland. At the time, nearly 40 independent distilleries dotted the rolling Irish landscape, the majority of which were centralized in the industrial engine room of the city — the Liberties. "Since 1782 the Teeling family has been crafting Irish Whiskey," says Jack Teeling, the founder of the Teeling Whiskey Company. "The entrepreneurial spirit that inspired Walter Teeling back in the 18th century has not been diluted over the years and the latest generation of Teelings are committed to innovating and creating unique Irish whiskeys."

Explore all Teeling bottles >>

About Irish Whiskey

Contrary to popular belief that Scots invented whisk(e)y, Irish whiskey was mentioned almost a century before its Scottish brother.

Its origin comes from the perfume distilling monks who decided to tweak the recipe a bit, creating Irish whiskey.

Irish whiskey doesn’t have a lot of rules and regulations to be considered “pure” and can be made with various grains and processes, as long as it is aged for at least three years in wooden casks and has a max ABV of 94.8%.

If you’d like to check out our impressive selection of “Uisce Beatha,” find your new favorite in the Best reviewed Irish whiskeys, and explore our treasury of rare & hard to find Irish whiskeys.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0721/7810/6581/files/teeling-32-year-old-purple-muscat-finish-single-malt-irish-whiskey-box_1_1.png?v=1745581052
