As any old Scottish distillery, Glenturret prides itself in not rushing their whisky making process- Perfection takes time, and so every cask is a result of handcrafted slow batch production and an unusually slow distillation in hand-beaten copper stills, giving this spirit the needed time to develop its most powerful flavor. Maturing in a combination of American oak hogsheads and European oak casks, this 12 year old single malt whisky is non-chill filtered and bottled at a powerful ABV of 46%, but that does not come across on the taste buds. Rather, they will be delighted by creamy vanilla, rich oak, and sweet fruit notes.
