While the exact blend remains a secret, nearly one-third of the blend is derived from a distillery in the Speyside region of Scotland, which matured its Scotch in fresh and refill sherry casks.  As a result, The Hive has a golden amber color with a nose of honey, heather pollen and a hint of orange juice.
