A salmon appearance with delicate copper touches. Extremely fine sparkle that almost twinkles. An elegant and mature whole. Initially open on the nose, confirming this maturity with autumnal girolle mushroom, jammy fruit, toasted bread and caramel aromas. Jammy mandarin, saffron and juniper notes also gradually develop. A beautifully complex nose that conjures up a gastronomic world. After swirling and a few minutes of air, the aromas turn towards precious wood, tonka bean and lobster bisque. Precise and clear in the attack. A beautiful edge of acidity accompanied by creamy sparkle. Both punctuate the palate with a lovely tonic and dynamic effect. The wine is clad in chalk with a saline touch, and has a tightly-knit yet still tender texture. The hugely coherent whole creates a sensation of purity. A lingering, clean finish.
