Our falernum is a variation on the classic, marrying the modifier’s customary spices, zest, and roundness with native Brazilian ingredients. After detailed research and experimentation, Chad Austin, famed Los Angeles, California based tiki bartender, created a recipe inspired by the aromas of Brazil. Avuá Falernum mixes Avuá Still Strength and Amburana, brazil nuts, Chilean almonds, star anise and rapadura sugar. Avuá Falernum should be enjoyed in the classic serves of tiki, stirred down, or as a refreshing and flavorful highball.
