About Bardstown Bourbon "Fusion" Series #8 Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Blending younger bourbons with older ones is at the heart of Bardstown Bourbon's Fusion Series. The 8th release is a blend of 3 bourbons, the younger two being Bardstown's own 4-year-old distillates. The first one (58% of the blend) was distilled from a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley, while the second (12%) was distilled from 70% corn, 18% rye, and 12% malted barley. The 3rd component (30% of the blend) is a mature 12-year-old Kentucky bourbon with a mash bill of 78% corn, 10% rye, and 12% malted barley. "As we grow, our bourbon ages — a difference you can taste with each Fusion release. Two vibrant, high-rye Kentucky bourbons are beautifully balanced by a bold 12-year Kentucky expression," say the folks at Bardstown Bourbon. Fusion Series #8 is bottled at 95.5 proof.Grab a bottle of this blended bourbon today!
