About Brugal Andres Rum (700mL)
Brugal Andrés Rum is a tribute to over 130 years of Dominican excellence. Crafted by 5th Generation Maestra Ronera Jassil Villanueva, it embodies tradition with rich notes of cacao, caramel, and warming spices. Aged to perfection, this rum delivers a 41.5% ABV masterpiece with a silky, complex finish. A masterful blend of first fill Oloroso Sherry and Bourbon single casks with two double-aged reserves creates a rare and exceptional rum of astounding Dominican character.
About Rum
Rum history allegedly started in the Carribiens in the 17th century when they started to ferment and distill molasses, a byproduct of sugar production. Most of the Rum is aged in oak or ex-wine casks, giving its color and flavor.
We distinguish between 4 different Rum categories, where white or unaged rum is mainly used in cocktails, while dark, spiced, and añejo (aged) rum are mostly enjoyed neat.
