Ceretto Barbaresco Asili 2020

A wine which winemaker Alessandro Ceretto feels is the 'most academic' offering he makes from the DOCG Barbaresco, the 2020 Asili has an open bouquet of red and purple flowers, coupled with 'a tannin structure that is silkier and more unilinear' than other Ceretto offerings from the same appellation. Hailing from a hilltop vineyard or 'bricco,' this wine is incredibly long on the palate and its well-integrated acidy will insure excellent long bottle aging.
