COMMON GROUND SPIRITS RECIPE 01: BASIL AND ELDERFLOWER GIN

This gin’s unique flavor comes from a hand-selected blend of botanicals sourced from our local suppliers. Many gins are infused by vapor distillation—passing heated alcoholic vapors through a basket of botanicals. Our botanicals are infused by maceration—steeping them until the flavors have bonded, then adding fresh basil and pureed cucumber the day of redistilling to create a refreshing, elegant flavor profile.

What you will find in this small-batch craft gin are refreshing floral and citrus notes, an herbaceous bouquet of basil on the nose, and a uniquely fresh and floral finish of elderflower on the palate. 

This gin can be enjoyed neat, over ice, or mixed into your favorite gin cocktail.
