Brad Hoover, the late founder, established Tequila Corrido to honor the traditions and stories that shaped tequila's evolution, infusing each expression with rich corridos or folk songs. The making of Corrido Overproof Tequila begins with a careful harvest of agave piñas. These are slow-cooked to perfection, an extended process of approximately 8 hours more than usual, allowing for a deep, flavorful extraction. The cooked agave is then milled to derive the sweet nectar, which is fermented using 100 percent all-natural agave yeast. This precise method develops the intricate expressions of Tequila Corrido. The tequila is then rested for 30 days for harmonization, ensuring a balanced and nuanced flavor profile. This double-distilled, 100% additive-free tequila is bottled at 100 proof, promising a refined drinking experience.
