About Daviess County French Oak Barrel Finished Bourbon Whiskey
Daviess County French Oak Barrel Finished Bourbon is a blend of a wheated bourbon mash bill and a high-rye bourbon mash bill. While the exact age statement is unknown, the bourbon is finished for 6 months in French oak barrels, achieving enviable layers of complexity. Bottled at a pleasant 96 proof, the nose greets with honey, vanilla and caramel while the exceptionally smooth palate bears hints of chocolate and oak. An elegant but lively expression, it’s a unique oak-finished bourbon that manages to be delicate and bold at the same time. Definitely best enjoyed neat.Get 1 of 4,000 bottles today!
About Daviess County
One of the first great bourbon distilleries in Kentucky, Daviess County’s roots date back to 1874 in the famed Daviess County. In 1993, it was acquired by the David Sherman Corporation, known today as Lux Row Distillers. Produced under the roof of a grain to glass distillery, Daviess County is reimagining the rich tradition and becoming "a sip of the future". Daviess County range includes three expressions: Daviess County French Oak, Daviess County Kentucky Straight Whiskey, and Daviess County Cabernet Sauvignon Finish. Other award-winning brands produced under the same roof include Rebel Yell, Ezra Brooks, and Blood Oath.About Bourbon
