DEWAR'S DOUBLE DOUBLE 21 YEAR OLD, MAGMA STONE TOASTED FRENCH OAK, LEVEL 3

<p>Dewar’s Double Double Stone Toasted Magma French Oak (level 3) is the latest iteration of the Double Double Collection.</p>

<p>This Dewar’s Double Double expression is aged for a minimum of 21 years in our four-stage aging process. The final step involves finishing the whisky in French Oak casks that have been evenly stone toasted to a Level 3 toasting intensity with Icelandic Magma stones.</p>

<p>Dewar's has taken the final step in its four-stage aging process even further by embracing a technique called Stone Toasting. Stone Toasted casks, sourced by Master Blender Stephanie Macleod and her team, allow Dewar's to offer a truly exclusive whisky experience to whisky enthusiasts.</p>

<p>Stone Toasting gently enhances the natural oak flavor of the casks, by slowly heating the wood with stones to open the pores. This differs from the more traditional method of charring the casks with flames, and creates a delicate, more diverse flavor combination.</p>

<p>This collection of five experimental whiskies is designed to show off the influence of the oak: American vs French; toasting levels; and the source of the heat: Jade vs Magma. All five whiskies have a multifaceted, intense and yet superbly smooth flavor profile; each offering something different.</p>
