If you are looking for a distinctive reposado, this Don Julio private cask is something to behold. Matured for 10 months and bottled at 85.4-proof, this Don Julio is bold and beautiful. On the nose are notes of orange citrus, thyme, grass, and smoked oak, leading to a pour with hints of sweet orange, dark chocolate, steamed agave, and cardamom. The finish has charred oak and caramel sweetness ending with white pepper. This is a pour that can easily be enjoyed neat or with a cube—or if you're feeling creative, you can accentuate its flavors by exploring its use in variations of an Old Fashioned.
