About Fukano 10 Year Old Whisky
Their whisky is produced with a combination of locally grown malted and unmalted rice using a stainless steel still. Distilled, matured and bottled on-site, Fukano Whisky are sold in export markets in very limited releases with only a few casks bottled every year.
Fukano 10 Year Old is crafted with malted rice and aged for a full decade in ex-brandy puncheons. Elegant, silky and light with complex notes of exotic woods and florals, this is an intriguing and flavorful whisky.
An extraordinary example of a rice-based whisky, Fukano 10 Year Old received one of the highest scores with 96 out of 100 at the 2020 Ultimate Spirits Challenge. It also made it on the list of Top 100 Spirits 2020 and on the list of Top 20 Best Whiskies of the Year in 2017 by Whisky Advocate.

About Fukano Whisky
The Fukano Distillery stands in Hitoyoshi City on the island of Kyushu, Japan. It was founded in 1823 and is located in the Kyushu mountain region that is famed for its pristine nature and exceptionally-pure water. The first distillery in the Kumamoto Prefecture to mature the traditional Japanese rice spirit shÅchÅ« in barrels, this process was first put into practice by Chizuru Fukano, the current president's mother.About Japanese Whisky
