Gold Bar Black Double Cask Bourbon is crafted in the heart of the San Francisco Bay. Designed by Master Blender Montgomery Paulsen, the whiskey is distilled from a two-grain mash bill of 80% Texas corn and 20% Oklahoma rye. Then, it spends from 3 to 6 years in new American oak casks. After its initial maturation, it is finished in French oak barrels that previously held wine from the Napa Valley. The unconventional mash bill and maturation make for a unique bourbon that's bold and creamy with smoke, spice, and fruit notes. It's bottled at 92 proof without chill-filtration.
