High West Manhattan Barrel Finished Cocktail is rich and complex with notes of Black cherry fruit, leather, strawberries, orange peel, molasses, cinnamon bark, and sage. The finish has notes of cherry, spiced apples, sun-dried raisins, candied orange rind, rosemary, savory spice, pastry rolls, dark chocolate, and dried fig. This unique bourbon goes through a unique aging process. It matures in new American oak barrels before finishing in a used wine barrel, giving it complexity and character, summons the connoisseur's striking amber color and promises an incredible drinking experience.

History
High West Manhattan Barrel Finished Cocktail is a unique blend which was first produced in 1884, is a true classic. We love this drink for its harmony, balancing just the right amount of sweet, rich, bitter, and spice. Like any classic, you respect what makes it great. That's why we use the time-tested Manhattan recipe featuring sweet vermouth, a dash of aromatic bitters, and our bourbon and rye whiskeys. What isn't a classic, but adds depth and complexity, is barrel aging. For that reason, we let our Manhattan age an additional 3 months in used rye barrels to fully marry the flavors. Worth the wait, we hope you enjoy this most intricate rendition of a true classic.
