<p>The Maestro Dobel 50® Anniversary Series was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our founder, Juan Dobel, by presenting a tequila that enhances what it means to be a Maestro Tequilero with the greatest virtue: that of sharing. Each year, Dobel will produce a limited edition to honor 50th celebrations including birthdays, anniversaries and milestones. Dobel 50® 1972 is a rare, limited edition that is finished in toasted and charred new American oak barrels and Bushmills® Single Malt Irish Whiskey casks. This Extra Añejo tequila is a sweet and smooth liquid, crafted from 100% blue agave sourced from a family-owned, single estate in the volcanic lowlands of Tequila, Mexico. The artisanal process includes slow-cooking, slow double-distillation and a unique refinement process. With notes of cooked agave, dried fruits and nuts such as hazlenuts and almonds. The honeyed and caramel notes lead to hints of pear, apple and banana and close with elegant rich notes of butter and toffee.</p>
