Optik Solomon Hills Pinot Noir 2021

Sourced from the Santa Maria Valley's westernmost site, Solomon Hills Vineyard, this Pinot Noir gets its intense flavors from a strong maritime influence and sea breeze that keeps the grapes cool and small. Opening with aromas of spiced cherry, strawberry rope candy, licorice bites and gentian root, the nose will soon pick up hints of freshly ground pepper and delicate purple flowers. The wine bursts with intense flavors of raspberry pie filling, bing cherries, and a hint of toasted caramel. Sun-ripened cranberry and silky tannins are present before a long, silky finish.
