About Pa'lante White Rum
Distilled in Chiapas, Mexico, at the Rones de México distillery, Pa'lante White Rum is crafted under the watchful eye of Maestro Ronero Jorge Perez. It's a blend of 2 distinct rums: one is distilled from sugarcane juice using a traditional pot still, the other from molasses using a column still. After the two are blended, they mature for 6 months in ex-bourbon casks. This expression is the one that Pa'lante uses as the base for their flavored expressions. About Rum
Rum history allegedly started in the Carribiens in the 17th century when they started to ferment and distill molasses, a byproduct of sugar production. Most of the Rum is aged in oak or ex-wine casks, giving its color and flavor.
