The Penner-Ash Syrah is sourced from vineyards in southern and northern Oregon, two climates giving this wine a unique expression. The dense structure is supported by notes of sweet cedar and caramelized mushroom.
In 1999, Lynn Penner-Ash began sourcing fruit with an eye to making a unique Oregon Syrah. Over the years, Lynn slowly developed the signature Penner-Ash Syrah style, a balance between structure and sweetness from the warner southern Oregon vineyards, and blue fruit notes, nice acidity, and freshness from Hood River sourcing.
