Riedel Mamba Decanter

Riedel decanters combine sophistication and elegance with optimal shapes for aeration. Decanting old wines, just a few moments before they are served helps to ensure that the wine's clarity and brilliance are not obscured by any deposit that may have developed over time. Decanting young wines several hours before they are served gives the wine a chance to bloom and attain a stage of development that normally requires years of aging.

Inspired by the sleek form of a mamba snake, the Riedel Mamba Decanter makes a stunning presentation for entertaining and serves as a highly effective decanter. Even when it is being filled, the wine flows through several chambers and is double-decanted and intensively aerated. This effect can only be achieved over hours in a conventional decanter. The long neck, ideal for pouring out, revitalizes the wine in the two aeration chambers when served. As the wine flows through, it emits a soft gurgle created by the vacuum effect. The decanter stands 17 3/4" high and holds 1,500ML/52-7/8 oz. Hand washing is recommended.
