Founders Aaron and Jonathan Hensleigh established Nevada H&C Distillery a good decade ago and have been going strong ever since. This award-winning distillery is located in the heart of downtown Las Vegas, where their one-of-a-kind bottles are coated by sagebrush, Nevada’s state flower. It is known for producing several different delish Spirits; the most famous ones include Smoke Wagon Bourbon, Smoke Wagon Rye, and of course, Silver Dollar American Vodka—all so different, yet oh-so-good! Crafted in October 2020, Smoke Wagon The Younger Uncut Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a younger brother of Uncut Unfiltered. This easy-sipping bourbon is made with four year 36% Rye Bourbon, generously taken from multiple floors and warehouses, making the flavor spicy and dynamic. Its fruit-forward notes linger on the nose and continue after the first sip. From cotton candy to cinnamon pancakes, this Spirit hints at everything sweet waiting for you to try. It stands at a whopping 57.97% ABV, demanding caution and respect with every sip but also receiving standing ovations for its simple, sweet, yet layered flavor. The story of Nevada H & C Distilling Co. began in 2004 when the screenwriter Jonathan Hensleigh met co-founder Aaron Chepenik in a bar in Eagle Rock, Los Angeles. They quickly realized they had the same vision for opening a bar - The Griffin, together. After a couple of years of sampling their inventory, they began discussing what they liked and didn't like about the bourbons and vodkas they were selling.One night, the idea of creating their own spirits popped up, which eventually led to them opening the first distillery in the city of Las Vegas. The City Council had to create a license, especially for them since none existed beforehand. It took 6 years of gathering equipment and setting it up, with several hurdles along the way. The bright side was that by the time they opened their doors, they had several high-rye bourbons ready, which meant they could begin operating immediately.
They have two brands under their belt now, both with several medals from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition: Silver Dollar and Smoke Wagon.

There are not many things more American than bourbon, and although most of it is produced in Kentucky, it can be produced all over the USA.
