If you can imagine taking everything you love about a Westward American Single Malt, then deepening those rich flavors and kicking up the proof just enough, you would land right here. The nose offers deep, malted chocolate, a hint of espresso, and vanilla. This leads into roasted malts, cacao, brown sugar, and subtle oak, with a smooth lingering finish that, to me, includes a slight nuttiness, caramel, and dark fruit. As an incredibly balanced 118.21 proof release, this pour can easily be sipped neat, opened up with a rock, or enjoyed as a compliment to any of your favorite desserts.
